The paint is everywhere, it's durable and looks fantastic. The transformation is actually fun to do and doesn't take as much time as you would expect. The DR.1 alt mode is legitimately to die for. One huge glaring problem: diecast placement. In the knees and elbows, metal scrapes directly against plastic for friction, plastic which is heavily painted. twenty minutes and the paint IN the joints has fallen away, leaving everything loose. not only that, but none of these joints are screwed, so no tightening loose joints up. I'm genuinely concerned that another twenty minutes handling and he won't be able to stand anymore.

Toyworld, nothing else matters until the figure is solid. add great paint and detail after you've made something that stands up to manipulation.
