A truly outstanding figure! First time I actually got a figure that I didn't have to worry about falling apart when I put it in certain poses. The engineering of this figure is incredible!

Great figure and likeness to the IDW Alex Milne Design! Only gripe is no battle axe!

Amazing figure. Had it for about a month and loving it. Nothing is loose on it and holds together really well.
Most articulated figure i've ever seen/had

Absolutely no complaints here. Optus Pexus is a solid figure and a ton of fun to handle. The amount of movement and the fact that he can still transform is just insane. Optus feels sturdy and is just a blast to pose and to mess with. Whether you want a serious action pose or even something goofy and funny, he can do it. He's got great shelf presence too! I can hardly take my eyes off him. I have to admit: this is probably one of my proudest impulse buys ever!

This may be the most awesome Orion/Optimus homage ever. If you only buy one third party Transformer, this is the one. If you are a fan of the IDW comics (pre-reboot) this should be an automatic must have.
The quality of the build is extremely high. There are so many cool details that I am still noticing things after a week of transforming and posing him. (I just noticed there are little pistons on the back of the elbow joints and the back of his knees.) Transformation is fun and there are some very clever bits. The wee matrix looks great, the pair guns to hold or mount on the shoulders are nice and came in two pairs: a black set and a dark grey set.
The joints are solid. Some may be stiff but not overly so. I can’t say enough about how flexible this toy is, but I assure you that everything you’ve heard and seen about this are spot on. Optus could teach a yoga class.
Downsides (and I feel I’m totally reaching here) are that the hands look a little bit like a Terminator with how the articulation was done. However, the hands are so posable this a minor gripe. They even hold things up well. The matrix is a little hard to fit into his chest, but it does work. You can only fit the “core†(you have to take the “handles†off) but it does look nice once fitted.
I think Optus Plexus sets a new standard and even beats out Masterpiece Primes for best ever. It is certainly my favorite Prime since MP-1.
He looks amazing. He transforms amazing. Amazing detail and articulation. Optus/Orion/Optimus is a true masterpiece. (See what I did there?)

The figure is solid and looks great alongside the Megatron inspired toy from the same collection. Minor issue I have is switching it from Bot to Truck mode where one of the legs doesn't like to slide/is too tight. Like I said this is super minor as I plan on keeping this in the superior robot mode.
I would also like to shout out the CS with the site, I goofed and had it mailed off to the wrong address and the team got a replacement shipped to me once the original was marked returned to sender.

This figure is just a joy for so many reasons. Firstly, he really looks the part of an IDW inspired Orion Pax. The sculpt and paint are absolutely fantastic. He looks like he jumped right out of the comics in both of his modes. Secondly, the transformation is a lot of fun. I don't know how the instructions are, I just followed a video, but they seem pretty decent. The instructions also include a comic, which I haven't read yet. He's got no clearance issues, no fiddly tabs and the materials just feel so good in hand. Thirdly, the articulation on the robot is insane. He's got so many joints that you can get him into a variety of poses. The fingers are all fully articulated. Lastly, he comes with a lot of accessories. Both black and gray guns, for whichever look you prefer. He's got a matrix of leadership, which you can pose him into the "Light our darkest hour" pose (how mine is currently standing) thanks to the fantastic articulation. The matrix can also store in his chest. And he's got his forearm guns too. All in all, he's just a fantastic figure, I'm so glad I went with my instincts and bought him based on the pictures. He's going to look great standing on the shelf next to my Generation Toy OP EX.
