If you're looking for an MP style Sky Lynx this is it. Nothing else is going to come close. Just watch out for his teeth. No seriously they are sharp.

I have half a mind to get a second Magna because that beast mode is so cool. The body is super posable and turns in a cat like way.

Inventa also can stand out on its own, both figuratively and literally. But they look better together!

Given they are both of the same price, I was contemplating between the Transformers Masterpiece MP-57 Skyfire and the Mastermind Creations R-35C Magna + R-36C Inventa Skylynx Set. It was a tough decision but I was won over by the unique look of Skylynx. I got this from TFSource and boy I'm glad I made that decision.

The Magna (tiger) part is super solid and weighty due to the die cast legs, and it needs to hold the weight of Inventa (bird) part. Magna is very easy to transform and that makes it a joy from the usual more complex transformations. Nothing fights you, and it it such fun. I initially scoffed at what looked like a blocky thing, but in tiger mode, it looks darn good.

Then there's Inventa. The more complex transformation, but again, it does not fight you and while it is more tricky to transform, it looks so good as the bird beast. it's the highlight between the two parts as it's the "dinosaur bird" bit, and the one with most character. And it's stable on it's own little "chicken feet". There is only one caveat - the neck is still a bit loose - I wish they fixed it from the last version, but it's fine if you don't move it too much.

It's when you combine the two that it looks super solid, and now you have the best Skylynx Transformers ever made - no previous version look this good. It is worth every cent, and to display it, you'd need a good amount of space. Skylynx is majestic, and just looks powerful with his mouth open. The plastic feels solid, and at no point did I feel it was easily breakable. This Skylynx is FULL of character! Mastermind Creations has done a remarkable job, and I highly highly recommend it.
