This figure is stupid accurate, and while sure the transformation is a bit complex, its so worth it as every other DOTM soundwave ive seen is either super blocky or lacks certain features. Easily worth the money

It's a wonderful figure. I have absolutely no gripes or worries when posing or transforming this figure. Alt mode looks sleek and barely can see the panel lines. Robot mode looks even better! So accurate to the movie modles and images.

this movie version Soundwave is pretty cool!! i like it... just wish he was at least 1 more inch taller.

As other reviews have stated, the legs can be a bit tricky. I also had to experiment to find the best place for his thumbs in vehicle mode. Apart from that, this is the best this character is ever going to be as a figure that can transform. Once you have tye transformation worked out, it is so satisfying to go from one mode to another. The joy I get playing with this figure is on the same level as a Unique Toys movie series release. The Lazerbeak and Ravage are well articulated and look great too! I'm not sure if Ravage is a first run bonus or not, but I purchased the figure very recently to writing this and he was there. I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Overall, I love the figure.

Just as another reviewer stated, be VERY careful when transforming the feet. It is extremely tricky the first time. I had to watch some videos and it was still a tad confusing. The instructions aren't the greatest, but once you actually understand where things go, it is a breeze after.

I HOPE Newage makes more MP scale figures. The price point may not be for everyone, but I personally think it's worth it since there may never be an official release. Perhaps Dino or DOTM Sideswipe will be in the near future for them.

This is a great figure, it has a complex but mostly smooth and fun transformation that you get used to after the first couple of times of doing it. I hope newage keeps releasing awesome movie figures like this one!
