This was my first third party figure, I liked the price during the Father’s Day sale and was impressed. I had not seen any reviews of the remastered set and was pleasantly surprised by the accessories provided. The transformation was involved but also somewhat intuitive. This is a great set and I am excited for the Coneheads to be released.

This reissue of the Decepticon seeker mold is, in a word, amazing. Maybe not perfect, but it’s really good.
The figure has a satisfying weight to it in your hand, the paint job is great, the articulation is good (I just wish that the upper arms could rotate, but I understand the exclusion of it for better jet mode stability).
The jet mode looks great as the robot mode kibble vanishes into it except for one or two features (like the toes, and even those look more like an intentional aesthetic choice for the fighter than feet hanging off of the thrusters).
The included stand is great and has storage for most of Skycrow’s accessories.
One caveat: the instructions aren’t great. They consist of grayscale images with no highlights on the parts to move. So, it’s often unclear which parts are moving and exactly how to do it—I’d recommend using the QR code to watch the video instructions instead.
I’d also recommend not sliding up the crotch plate until you have the legs fully transformed (the instructions put sliding the plate up first) or transforming it with the chest facing up until you’re done.
Why? Because the hinge for the lower body is loose and the legs are heavy—causing the whole assembly to fall down at a 90-degree angle. If the plate is up, it WILL get popped off and break the connector pin. I found this out the hard way. The plate goes back on for jet mode easily enough because of the additional tabs, but not so much for the robot mode.
I got it on the sale for nearly half off of the regular price, and despite the couple of gripes that I had, it was well worth the price. I actually got two of the seekers—Skycrow and Lightning. This one is on display as a fighter and Lightning is in robot mode.
