This is a great high quality figure.
The good: quality parts and materials. Just enough diecast. Paint apps are all crisp. Articulation is top notch. Sculpt is great. All 3 modes are rock solid, not fiddley or loose anywhere. Just an A+.

The bad: not much and most of these are nitpicks. Size is a little big next to other mps in bot mode. But will work nice for a big combiner. Some areas of the bot are a little plain or overly simplistic. Could have used a touch more detail in bot mode. Some joints are really tight making the first time you transform it a bit tough.

Just got this figure in today and was messing around with it. Super solid and you can really feel the weight of it and the diecast metal parts of it. I haven't been able to transformer it yet due to an assembly error on one of the shoulders. It seems to have been put in upside down, I'm going to try to fix this myself once I get a screw driver kit that can work with the screws. This could be a one off with my unit but something to be aware of for this one and maybe MSO1 when it comes out as well since they are using similar frames for the bots.

Mine was missing a tiny little window in the back but it doesn’t affect the figure at all, I rarely see it and even when I do I tend to ignore it.

I first saw the Headmasters cartoon a couple years ago and I've wanted a set of Trainbots since then. Unfortunately, they're hard to come by outside of Japan. So, when I found out recently that both Takara and Moon Studios were doing them, I knew I had to buy them. I'm collecting the Moon Studios set due to the price and also the availability.

I was instantly drawn to this figure due to the look of him. He looks just like Yukikaze from the show. The figure is also large and heavy. It stands a bit taller than an MP Optimus Prime and has a lot of solid plastic and die cast metal in it. The paint work is gorgeous, lovely silver and green. The green paint also matches the molded green very well. Transformation into train mode was a chore. It took a bit of work and the instructions are so-so. I finally wound up finishing the transformation without looking at the instructions. There are a lot of fiddly panels to line up, but anyone used to MP and Studio Series transformations should be used to that. Once you get it transformed, it's very solid. I have Dark Knight also, so I have them hooked up and they look great. Also, once this set is complete, this is going to be a really long train. I haven't tried the transformation into combined mode yet, I'll wait until I have all six for that. However, both robot and train modes are great and I can't wait to complete the set.
