Trying different third party brands, and Mastermind Creations hit it out of the park. The Plastic is solid the bots transformation is great but not over complicated. They look great in all forms. The only problem I had was with the Onsluaght figre. When you pull out the double guns for the Bruticus setup I had to tighten the screws to keep them standing. Very Very Very minor. I also got the upgrade kit. Very easy to install, its not really needed unless you want a different look. I do think the feet add extra stability. This figure Pairs well with Generation Toys Guardian.

Although these figures lack the diecast I like to see in my collection, the aesthetics and ease of transformation for the MMC Combaticons make them too attractive to pass up. Blast Off and Vortex seem to look the best in their alt modes. Swindle looks as though he jumped right off the g1 cartoon screen. Brawl is fun to display in robot and tank mode and onslaught looks stupidly good in robot mode. Vortex is the most difficult to transform but gets a bit easier after a few times, Brawl has some trouble with he's foot/ankle area but the rest of the team is mostly no problem. The color scheme for each figure is just right and look especially good for Bruticus. The height for combined mode is fine and I don't think any combiner needs to be bigger/taller than this. Seems as though as soon as TFS gets more stock in for these figures their gone and up again for pre-order. Great to display with Starscream.
