Absolutely stunning model with that is a great representation for Seaspray.

Great little figure for a fairly obscure character. Not going to find a better MP Seaspray.

Just the feel of having this bot in your hands... Like every adventure movie when they grab the gem/idol ect. Not my favorite character by any means but this bot is definitely so well made... it's pure elation as a collector who enjoys something well built.

This was my first figure from Fans Toys and it did not disappoint. The figure is sturdy and a great representation of the G1 character. I usually do not purchase from Fans Toys as I have felt they are overpriced for a toy that is going to warm my shelf. However, this guy has me rethinking that to some degree. I will selectively get a couple more Fans Toys and see if that feeling remains.

Honestly quite blown away with how much i enjoy this figure! Hes is incredibly well designed, with both his robot and boat mode coming out clean and smooth! Fun transformation, and the plastic is very solid. He is also incredibly heavy for something so small, caught me off guard when opening him! I would highly reccomend checking him out if you are a fan of G1, and looking to expand your Masterpiece collection ^^

I was not racing to the portal to pre-order this when it came out as I already had 1.0. The 1.0 is more slender and yes, the joints on the legs show more line work, so this 2.0 makes the character more toon accurate...but of all the characters still not done, of all the releases we cannot find anywhere for a reasonable price that could use a re-release...was this one REALLY necessary? Or was this a pissing contest with XTB?

Its a great figure, painted well, diecast, show accurate, reasonably priced, and yes looks better than 1.0 but lacks a certain wow factor.

Fanstoys is simply on another level. This thing walked right out of the cartoon. Beautiful sculpt, inspired engineering, tons of hardware and painted to the nines. Great alt-mode and good articulation. Feels great and looks even better on the shelf.

I wish Fanstoys would make a Bumblebee.

MP-45 feels like it's made out of paper in comparison.

The figure is fantastic! It’s FansToys! If you know the company than you know what kind of quality is involved. If you haven’t bought it and are reading this to make a decision, What Are You Waiting For?!

I may be biased because I love Fan Toys so much but this figure is great. Not only is the cartoon likeness there, but it fits in great with every line on MP that I currently own. If you’re on the fence, get it! You all know what happens price-wise once the first run of these goes.

Overall this is a great figure with all of the usual things FansToys is known for. Good paint, solid build, great toon likeness and proportions.

But I feel like they got lazy. The small white tabs on the chest pieces that tab into the blue front piece are small and tab at an angle putting a lot of pressure on them. One of mine already snapped off.

Additionally the visible head syndrome in alt mode, lack of secondary windows on the top in alt mode, The gaps on the upper chest and wrists, lack of wrist and neck articulation and single piece hip skirt are a lot of very small annoyances that add up.

Spindrift here is no exception, a wonderfully done rendition of the character, despite being their second attempt at this, you can tell in the hand feel that this was crafter from the ground up with then intention to correct that mistake, hes heavy, hes chunky, and hes pretty to look at, wins all across the board ladies and gents

If you havent already, dont snooze, grab a copy of this guy now, you wont regret it

Love the diecast parts and paint, easy to transform but a little concern on the paint chip during transformation of the backpack to the front where you have to pull and close the waist

Fanstoys done it again this version is leaps and bounds better then their first release. It made me sell my xtransbots version. Love the paint work on this figure and man the ratchets are a great addition normally the don’t put ratchets on the mini figures. Now Just waiting on the version of blitz wing to finally finish my masterpiece collection. 🙏 hopefully they release it this month and don’t push the release date any further. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Fanstoys have done it again!!! Spindrift 2.0 is a leaps and bounds over 1.0. 2.0 has more heft, and EASIER transformation. The paint apps look incredibly better on 2.0, the use of semi matte yellow and the blue with metallic flake makes him look so much better. Fanstoys just keeps releasing incredible figures!!!

I just received my item and I love, as a true collector since 1984, it does not matter how they are design to me, to have a figure with articulation, then my 86 seaspray, or any other of my collection, were only the arms articulation, only moving up and down, and yet I still love them. I see lots of reviews, and to sum it all up, this new generation wants perfection, well guess what people not in your life time or the next will it happen, be grateful. Fanys toys truly goes out their way. They truly make it happen. And I am thankful to be alive till this day to see this happen.
